You might want to check this out for yourself. This changes some of the settings for Windows Services which are considered default by MS and therefore sets the Start up to Selective which is then perfectly normal. I use Black Viper's suggested settings for Windows Services in order to optimize my operating systems, have for many, many years beginning with XP.
Do you have any service(s), startup item(s) disabled or set differently from what is considered default? If so then this is the reason for the Selective Start up.
